What is an MSD Dry Storage Cabinet?
An MSD (Moisture Sensitive Device) Dry Cabinet is an ultra-low humidity storage solution designed to comply with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 standards.
It maintains an internal environment of ≤1% RH to prevent moisture absorption in packages like COB, PBGA, and TQFP, eliminating the need for
nitrogen purging or vacuum packing.
These cracking and delamination issues are caused by inadequate humidity control during storage and pre-reflow processes.
